What we liked
- + Horn-loaded design with a 90 by 90 degree Tractrix horn, which the listing credits with controlled directivity for dialogue.
- + Dual 5.25-inch spun-copper woofers and a 1-inch aluminum LTS tweeter give a proper three-driver center layout.
- + Hidden fasteners and magnetic low-profile grilles give a clean look beneath a screen.
Trade-offs
- - A full-size center channel, so it needs a wide shelf or stand and some clearance under the TV.
- - Works best matched with other Klipsch Reference speakers, which adds to the total cost of the system.
