What we liked
- + A single bar produces a wide, tall soundstage, and the Sonos app guides setup over one HDMI eARC cable
- + Works with Sonos Sub 4 and Era 300 speakers, so you can add bass and rear channels later
- + Speech enhancement and TV-remote, app, touch and voice control cover everyday use
Trade-offs
- - At about $1,099 it is the most expensive bar here, and the sub and rear speakers are extra purchases
- - Without a subwoofer the bass is limited by the bar cabinet, and expansion stays within the Sonos ecosystem
