What we liked
- + Powered design with a built-in amplifier means no AV receiver is required to play music or TV audio.
- + 90 by 90 degree Tractrix horn and a 1-inch aluminum LTS tweeter target detailed, low-distortion sound.
- + Bluetooth, phono input for turntables and digital and analog inputs cover most sources.
Trade-offs
- - Priced higher than many bookshelf pairs, and the 4-inch woofers will not match larger speakers for bass.
- - Powered pair needs a power outlet for each speaker, and the R-41PM it replaces is a different model.
