What we liked
- + RGBIC segments show multiple colors along the strip at once for more dynamic effects behind the TV
- + Govee Home app offers 99+ preset scenes and 11 music modes, plus Alexa and Google Assistant voice control
- + 12.5 ft strip covers all four sides of a 55 to 65 inch TV, with cable clips recommended for a snug fit
Trade-offs
- - It does not capture on-screen colors automatically, as the listing notes, so effects do not follow the picture
- - Wi-Fi control supports 2.4G networks only, and it costs more than basic remote-only strips
