What we liked
- + 2,320 joule energy rating with a 6,000 V maximum spike voltage listed in the specs
- + Widely spaced outlets leave room for big plugs and charger bricks, and a cord holder keeps cables tidy
- + Backed by a lifetime warranty and a $100,000 Connected Equipment Warranty per the listing
Trade-offs
- - The 6 ft cord is short for a strip, so the wall outlet needs to be close to the equipment rack
- - No coax, Ethernet or USB ports, and seven outlets fill up fast in a full receiver-based system
